2017 Fall Conference Registration

October 18-20, 2017 * Washington, DC

It's time to register for the TSEI 2017 Fall Meeting. The theme for this year’s meeting will focus on many pertinent and timely topics that are important to the industry. All guests are invited to attend the Wednesday welcome reception.  Attendees will enjoy a full day of meetings and speakers on Thursday, which will include NHTSA officials providing an update on industry issues. Then that evening, participants will have time to network and socialize during the group reception and dinner. The membership meeting will conclude with an update on member services and an open discussion portion regarding any new topics of interest. The meeting will wrap up just before noon, on Friday, October 20th.


This year TSEI will be holding the meeting at the offices of Foley & Lardner.

The TSEI conference reservation deadline is Friday, October 6, 2017.  Please contact TSEI staff if you are unable to make your conference reservation before the deadline.  Please note that you are encouraged to make hotel reservations as soon as possible.

  • NHTSA Update – Topics to include: Domestic enforcement and compliance testing programs and activities; Border enforcement (interaction with U.S. Customs); Industry outreach efforts (e.g., AAPEX/SEMA Show); Regulation of new lighting technologies; Part 551 Designation of Agent and Part 566 Manufacturer Registration; Other priorities, initiatives, challenges

  • Update on Capitol Hill

Cancellations must be received in writing.  Cancellation policy schedule is as follows:
  • Prior to October 1, 2017: Attendees will receive a full refund minus the 4% processing fee for payments made via credit card.
  • October 2 – October 14, 2017: Attendees will be credited 50% of registration fee to be applied to the 2013 Spring Meeting registration (minus the 4% processing fee for payments made via credit card.)
  • After October 14, 2017: No refunds or credits will be issued.
